It's very uncomfortable to do this from where I'm at this evening, but I'm sick and tired of these bits sitting on my computer and not getting posted.
After being all optimistic and ready to post Episode 139 just about 1 month ago, life threw a couple curve balls at me and Byron.
He's had to deal with studies and classes that have been very demanding on his time and sanity, and I've been coping with family issues that have taken almost every spare moment of time I have. In fact, I'm posting this episode from a hospital lobby that has WiFi. The good thing is that this looks to be the last night I’ll have to spend here. Thank God.
More on that the next time Byron and I record.
Shit, we're going to have one hell of an episode if we can ever manage to get it together long enough to record. With any luck, that'll be this weekend, but I really don't want to jinx it.
Anyway,
the "new" episode is posted - and it's a bit of a departure from all previous episodes. While I tried to find the time that I needed to edit the bits, it was just easier to post them in their raw, unedited format. I’ve talked about doing this before before, but I never had the guts to do it. The sad truth is that most folks won’t even notice that I’ve done (not done) anything.
Mostly I wanted to say thanks for sticking with us during this rough time. Byron and I are doing our best to make the time to get new material together and there will be more. Count on it.
I recently received some new intro music from
Steve Ojeda, plus a whole CD of music from a new artist called
Slim. I’m going to do my best to get his music posted this week.
Byron and I are also going to be posting more than just episode bits on our Deercamp Blog in the future. So if aren’t a subscriber to our Blog, you may want to add it to your iGoogle page sometime soon.
